The Norfolk Historic Environment Record (NHER) is the definitive database of the county's archaeological sites and historic buildings and landscapes, bringing together over 200 years of archaeological and historical research. It contains over 65,000 records describing Norfolk's fascinating past from the earliest evidence of human activity to the 20th century.
Maintained by Norfolk County Council's Environment Service, the NHER is updated daily, so add us to your favourites.
