Summary

This late 16th century timber framed and brick building has a pantiled gable roof and is partially surrounded by the remains of a medieval moat.

The apparent moat is a pond marked by Ordnance Survey as surrounding the north, northeast and northwest sides of the building. The house is listed as late 16th century, timber frame and brick with pantile gabled roofs. Two storeys and attic with porch and gabled bay of same elevation to south with end of cross wing to left. At northeast is long plastered timber framed wing with moulded arched fireplace at first floor. Wing at northwest has 19th century additions.
