Full Description
Timber framed mansion, with first floor hall, probably early 16th century.
Large wing of 1898 replaces Georgian extension; now itself extended in neo-Georgian style in 1960.
Fragments of stone windows and fireplace set in outside of 20th century sections.

September 2005. Trial Trenching. Contexts 1-12.
Exposed several deposits of made ground including a truncated gravel layer that may once have been a garden path. In addition three shallow features were located, two containing post medieval ceramic building material and medieval pottery and one containing a single sherd of medieval pottery.
