Summary

Truncated remains of an early 20th century smock drainage mill with internal turbine. The remains were restored in 1994.

Wind pump, derelict. Late 18th century.
Smock type, with octagonal weatherboarded trestle, truncated to two storeys. Eight cants with chamfered edges and cross braces.
Door opening and remains of sluice.
NB.The only surviving drainage smock mill in Norfolk.

(S3) states that this is not late 18th century but from about 1900. As stated above, the 18th century date comes from (S1).
