Summary

Church Farmhouse is a two storey, timber-framed and jettied house with original upper windows. It is thought that this building was probably a 16th century two cell cross-passage building with a firegable, extended to the north by a brick parlour block in the 17th century. It has been much altered to convert it to a public house in the 19th century, and was gutted in the mid 20th century. Behind the farmhouse is a barn with an arch-braced roof with tie beams.
