Has arch braced tie beam roof (see (S1)).

Listing Description excerpt:
"House. Three builds. Original house was of cross passage plan c.1540. Service end of this refaced early 19th century - to form new south front. Position of hall now occupied by mid-19th-century block, altered 20th century. To north a further extension of c.1870. Timber-framed south section with brick infill and brick skin. Remainder of brick, the north wing whitewashed. Roofs of black glazed pantiles. South front of two storeys in three bays. Panelled central door under plain pediment...Dentil eaves cornice. Gabled roof with internal eastern gable stack. Central block of two storeys in three bays. Central door below plain pediment...Gabled roof with skylights. Ridge stack set to left. Two-storey and dormer attic north block. Four-bay façade. Central canted bay rises through two storeys panelled door and casements...Parapet partly conceals gabled roof. One central sloping dormer.
Interior: In cross passage remain three screen doorways. These are rectangular but with mortar slots for four-centred arches. One 20th-century replacement arch is in situ. Above doorways are two-light openings. Chamfered and tongue stopped bridging beam runs to south wall. Roof of south block survives: tie beams on arched braces, tension braces to wall plates. Diminished principals and clasped purlins. Cambered collars and some curved windbracing."
