Summary

A Neolithic or Bronze Age stone macehead was found on the surface of a field in 1975. Metal-detecting between 2019 and 2024 recovered Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a Roman lead steelyard weight; a Late Saxon strap end and a medieval strap end, silver pin and copper alloy vessel fragments.
