Summary

A number of Mesolithic/Neolithic worked flints were found in this field during fieldwalking undertaken prior to 1960. These included cores, a core rejuvenation flake and scrapers.

Various prehistoric worked flints found during fieldwalking by H. le Strange prior to 1960.

Found in old O.S field 133:
2 Mesolithic/Neolithic scrapers and 1 core rejuvenation flake.

Found in old O.S field 146.
1 Mesolithic/Neolithic core, end scrapers and flake scrapers. More likely to be Mesolithic rather than Neolithic.
Previously recorded as NHER 1138.

Found in old O.S field 134:
2 Mesolithic/Neolithic cores and 2 scrapers.
Previously recorded as NHER 1139.

Flints identified by T. H. Mck. Clough (NCM). These finds are part of a larger collection of material from Old Hunstanton that the finder donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1960.92).
