Weatherboarding now removed or fallen. Main east façade consists of brick block of four bays, very irregular, at least two storeys, part of 3rd storey may be original but present top storey is 20th century; part of old dentilled cornice replaced. Original openings round arched, one doorway with jambs of black engineering brick; much 20th century alteration. To left is 20th century extension in red brick, of two storeys and four bays with concrete lintels and some engineering brick again, but one bay is only a screen across the first section of a timber framed addition with an open ground floor supported on steel columns made by Spencer of Melksham. The north wall has an upper addition with an interesting linear window below the eaves, and a dentilled cornice; probably 20th century. Other windows below but base hidden by later extension. West side hidden by recent sheds.
E. Rose (NLA) 18 January 1994.
