Summary

A Roman quern was found in the Swaffham area. It is thought to be from Great Dunham. It may have had three handles. The exact location and nature of its discovery are unclear.

Quern. Has two handle holes set at 90 degrees to one another (three handled quern?) Yorkshire type - sandstone grit.
