Summary

In 1976 a Bronze Age stone axe-hammer was dragged up by a tractor-drawn hoe on this site. Metal-detecting in 2022 recovered a post-medieval silver thimble.

1 Bronze Age stone axe hammer. 18.6cm x 9.8cm, 8.0cm thick. Slightly waisted perforation, butt battered.

As this object was unlikely to be more than 300 years old it does not constitute potential Treasure under the Treasure Act 1996.
