Full Description
Stone pounder, marked 'Otteringhythe' (= Methwold Hythe).
As this appears to be a 19th century find, the name is presumably due to someone antiquarianising from Blomefield's History; the recent suggestion that Otteringhythe was really at Weeting is therefore irrelevant.
E. Rose (NLA), 4 June 1999.
