Summary

Two possible Bronze Age round barrows were identified as spreads of gravelly material during a field visit in 1976. Precise locational information is not available, but they may correspond with two low amorphous mounds visible as earthworks on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2018. An additional possible barrow (NHER 11590) is recorded in the same field, approximately 80m to the north. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the earthworks still survive.

The two spreads of gravelly material described above, which possibly relate to ploughed-out Bronze Age round barrows, may correspond with two low amorphous mounds visible as earthworks on visualised lidar data (S1). As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the earthworks still survive. The extent of the record has been extended to incorporate the two mounds visible on the lidar.
