Summary

A sub rectangular enclosure of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. A fieldwalking survey in 2006 recovered a post-medieval tile fragment. Metal-detecting in 2010 and 2013 recovered Late Saxon/early medieval pottery; Roman and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons and other a number of other metal objects including an unfinished Early Saxon girdle hanger; medieval dress accessories; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment and a post-medieval book clasp.

Observation of new driveway, barn etc. on periphery of cropmarks revealed nothing.

Field survey on proposed route of King's Lynn to Wisbech natural gas pipeline (Area 1).
Finds recovered in this field included:
1 post-medieval tile.
1 post-medieval/modern drain fragment (salt glazed).
