Full Description
Roostinghill Pit.
A corner fragment of medieval brick was recovered at a depth of 5cm.
N. Adams (NAU).
The grid reference given is within a field that has never been part of the gravel pits up to 2003. It is probable that it was meant to be in the plot to the immediate east or south; it is impossible to confirm which after this length of time.
E. Rose (NLA), 27 October 2003.
