Full Description
1969.
Roman coins and 'indications of possible ancient road' seen by [1].
25 May 1977. Town visited by E. Rose (NAU).
Nobody I met had heard of Bay House, and no sign of it. One suggestion was that this was a mistake for Row House at 6790 0061. Finder was said to live in Flegg Green (central 677 013) but I could not trace him.
Site identified by E. Rose (NAU) 25 May 1978.
House was demolished in 1969 presumably at which time the finds were made. Two new houses stand on site in Flegg Green.
Finder has moved to Hunstanton or thereabouts.
Information from householders in Nowhere Lane - 'Fairmead Poultry Farm' on Ordnance Survey.
