Two storeys, brick and flint, shaped gable with pediment dated 1635. This is an early manifestation of a Dutch gable.

Despite the date of 1635 the house is not shown on the 1680 Groundplat of Lynn (S2), Pilot Street running across the site. It is present on a map of 1724. However the date of 1680 is based only on tradition and it may well be that an unrevised plate was used for the engraving (as with some so-called revised OS maps of today).

Listing Description excerpt:
"House. Dated 1635. Brick with some flint, whitewashed to east front. Plaintile roof. Two storeys. 20th-century door to left...Gabled roof...Straight south gable. North return is a big Dutch gable. Platband at first floor. Blind oval window in gable head. Deep kneelers and lower sweep of gable terminating in an open pediment with the date 1635 in iron letters. Rebuilt brick stack emerges from apex of pediment. Lower gabled range to west entered through a door under a lean-to pantiled outshut...Style and declared date of Dutch gable match, and is an early manifestation of the type."
