Map

Late 16th century house, due east of station.
Timber framed with brick and flint cladding. Change in alignment at north end.
Survey (S1) by Royal Commission for Historic Monuments on 17 April 1967, in file.
Destroyed for new housing estate.
E. Rose (NAU), 22 November 1978.

Comparison with 1:10,000 map shows that in fact this was further west than the housing estate, in the area marked as Broadlands. Present building on the site seems to incorporate part of the house.
E. Rose (NLA), 4 December 1991.

NGR corrected from original TF 9947 2033.
M. Horlock (NLA), 27 March 2003.
