NHER 12233 (Building record) - Pine Tree House or Hardwick House

Called Hardwick House on Ordnance Survey.
5 bay, 2 storey Georgian house, plastered brick facade with pediment almost over full width.
Georgian doorcase.
Most commanding house in village, standing as a backcloth to the green.
Excellent condition.

Listing Description:
House. Late 18th century. Brick with stucco front and slate roof. Facade of 5 bays in 2 storeys of symmetrical disposition. Central door in doorcase of fluted pilasters supporting broken pediment. 7-vaned fanlight. Late 19th century sashes each floor with stucco keystones. Parapet with 4-bay pediment obscuring gabled roof. Pediment with central attic roundel. Gable stack to left. Traces of tumbling in east gable head and full height 20th century extensions to rear.
