Full Description
Before June 1971. Casual discovery, Town Hall, Mortuary Garden.
The digging over of what was probably re-deposited garden soil produced a medieval stone mortar (Fig. 163,No. 47) sherds of Grimston jug, 17th/18th century lead glazed earthenware and a slipware chamber-pot (type of Fig. 118, No. 213).
