'Opposite the Firs Garage'.
Site of brick kiln.
See (S1).
Site confirmed by E. Rose (NAU) 18 May 1977.

The garage is now called the Supreme, in Middletons Lane.
Ordnance Survey marks a pit opposite but it is now built over.
