Summary

Shallow trenching at this location produced only a few sherds of 16th and 17th century pottery. A Roman copper alloy key handle was found at this site in 1990.

1990. Found in a pile (of soil?) on waste ground in Friars' Street.
Roman copper alloy key handle, iron shank missing.
