About 30 years before 1977.
Dug up in agricultural garden (now a school playing field). Looped palstave with shield-and-stem ornaments, narrow blade, splayed cutting edge. In hafting slot mass of corrosion with ?wood fibres.

Informant claims that a pot was found at the same place and time and sent to NCM for repairs, but no record of it there.

May be the same as NHER 10296.
