Summary

A scatter of medieval and post medieval pottery fragments has been noted in this location, probably part of the deserted medieval settlement (NHER 1057). An evaluation excavation ahead of building work in 1999 revealed a small brick-lined feature of fairly recent date but unknown function.

Finders [1] and [2] believe it indicates that the Deserted Medieval Village extends this far east.
