Full Description
Site of Cockthorpe Hall, extant in 17th century; home of the Calthorpes.
Site now lost, though [1] believes it may have been where Manor Farm now stands.
See NHER 12050 and NHER 23982.
In fact there seems no real reason to doubt that Manor Farm (NHER 12050) is the actual house. See discussion under that number.
E. Rose (NLA), 16 May 2005.
