Map

Semi circular mark in distance on air photograph, apparently part of another giant ring ditch as NHER 12784.
Also various trapezoid markings.
Located E. Rose (NAU) 12 September 1977.

April 2022. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The archaeological origin of the semi-circular feature (seen on S1) discussed above is uncertain. It is likely that the feature relates to a geological cropmark rather than an archaeological feature. The possible trapezoid markings discussed above have been recorded as part of NHER 65397 and NHER 65398 along with further features identified by the Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 28 April 2022.
