The World War Two Type 24 pillbox described above is visible as an extant building on aerial photographs taken from 1945 to 1972 (S2 to S5), centred at TG 4686 2017. The polygonal structure sat on a larger polygonal concrete platform which has also been mapped. On photographs taken in 1944 to 1945 (S2 to S3) it appears to have been camouflaged as an outbuilding.
