The assemblage includes a large quantity of medieval unglazed ware, 13th-14th century, including two simple rims of early medieval form and one unglazed jug handle. Only four sherds of glazed Grimston were identified.
The post medieval sherds consist of one large stoneware base and one very late glazed red earthenware sherd.
One medieval brick fragment, one lava quern fragment were also recovered.
A. Rogerson (NAU), 14 February 1985.
