See (S1).

November 1977. Field Observation.
Visited by E. Rose (NAU).
Good brown-brick Georgian pair of houses, each of two bays, three storeys and dormers. Later shop front on No. 18. Timbering visible in passage.
Compiled by E. Rose (NAU), 2 November 1977. Information from record card (S2).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 11 April 2023.

According to (S3) there is a medieval piscina and doorway in the building, which has led to suggestions that it is built on the remains of the guildhall of Corpus Christi. There is no mention of this on the listed building description (S1); stone basins do occur in several Lynn houses.
E. Rose (NLA), 18 October 1993.

Revised 1993 listing (S1) states 'interior not inspected' and makes no comment on the above-mentioned features but it does date the house to the 16th century on the grounds there is evidence for a timber frame among 17th-century brick at the rear.
E. Rose (NLA), 11 March 1999.
