Summary

No. 14 is a late 16th-century house that was substantially altered in the 18th century. It now has applied 19th-century timber framing on the first floor and is currently used as offices.

No. 14 has a good 18th century double doorway under a single rounded pediment supported on three Corinthian pilasters, and the original roof, but the façade has been replaced by a mock-Tudor cement front.

Excerpt of listing descriptions:
House, now offices. Late 16th-century origins but mainly mid 18th century. Rendered and pebbledashed brick. Plain tiled front roof slope, slate to rear. Two storeys in five bays. Central double door surround containing two panelled doors, each flanked by a fluted Corinthian pilaster. Blank frieze below a segmental dentilled pediment...Late 19th-century applied timber-framing to first floor and decorative medallions at intervals. Moulded timber eaves cornice below gabled roof. Internal gable-end stack to east and central ridge stack. Gable head of cross wing shows over ridge between stacks. This wing has stone quoins to rear and rubble construction...Various other accretions and extensions of 19th-century and later dart off in odd directions.
INTERIOR. Open-string staircase in east end with 2 circular section balusters on turned bases to each tread. Ramped and wreathed mahogany handrail and matching dado rail. Interior only partly inspected."
