Full Description
Found in garden on surface.
Roughly circular scraper, cortex on all of one side, retouched two-thirds of circumference.
Medieval unglazed body sherds. Two Grimston-Thetford rims.
One early medieval rim. One glazed Grimston body sherd. One coarse pimply sherd.
Identified by A. Rogerson (NAU).

Trial hole revealed 'clay floor' at 0.6m (2ft) depth, above which were several Grimston Ware handled jar fragments with internal and external glaze.
On south side gully-like feature cut into natural contained one sherd of Thetford-type Ware.
On surface in flowerbed: one ?Nuremberg jetton.

Spread of medieval glazed and unglazed sherds extends into gardens either side.
