Summary

This is the site of a ring ditch, probably dating from the Bronze Age, which is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. A rectilinear enclosure and associated linear features of unknown date are also visible. Prehistoric flints, Roman coins, and pottery dating from the Roman to the post medieval period have been found by metal detecting.

Finds of prehistoric flint, Roman, medieval and post medieval sherds over area (Context 1) and just south of southern field boundary (Context 2).

The northeast corner of what appears to be a large rectangular enclosure or field, which appears to be an extension of the previously recorded cropmarks to the immediate south.
There is an additional length of linear feature to the north and a potential second, smaller enclosure to the southeast, although cropmarks are very indistinct.
There are also potential pits or postholes, possibly one group in a semi-circular arranngement.
