Summary

In 1976 the cropmarks of unusual toft-like enclosures were noted here. Later, in 2000, the rim sherd of a late medieval/early post medieval copper alloy sheet vessel was recovered from this site.

Rim sherd of late medieval/early post medieval copper alloy sheet vessel (probably a cauldron) with external reinforcement or more likely repair, strip of copper alloy sheet held in place by four sheet 'paper-clip' rivets.
