Civil Parish BRAMPTON, BROADLAND, NORFOLK

Found between 1660 and 1685 in 'The Grove' at Oxnead.
Roman urn containing silver coins of Augustus, Vitellius, Vespasian, Hadrian, Trajan and Pertinax..

Farmer at Limekiln Farm says that Grove Wood is what the OS mark as the western end of Broomhill Plantation.
This is confirmed by (S2)'s account of the Hall 'facing the grove walks to the north' in about 1730.
Buried in about 193 to 200AD according to R. R. Clarke (NCM)
