Full Description
'At foot of Skeet's Hill' a cold-water bath was established in 1754, according to one source, but (S1) says an inscribed stone from it was dated 1652. Note Bath Cottages on Ordnance Survey.
Information from NCM Bolingbroke Collection.
Bath Cottages are 19th century brick; the eastern one is in 17th century style and may have some older brickwork but is Victorian as it now stands. No trace of bath.
E. Rose (NAU) 1 March 1979.
