Summary

Manor House is a plastered, timber-framed building with brick end walls, probably built during the late 16th or early 17th centuries. To the northwest is a later timber-framed wing, and there is an timber-framed outbuilding which may have once been used as a dairy.

Probably early 17th century manor house, but much restored and altered.

(S2) agrees with this dating and that the first floor corridor is original.

(S3) includes an outbuilding, possibly once a house in its own right; timber framed with offcentre stack, windows on two storeys, some of them slatted as if for use as a dairy.

September 1951. Listed, Grade II.
Main house as late 16th/early 17th century. Timber frame, plastered. Brick end walls, south end with stepped gable and internal chimney stack. Steep tiled roof with gabled ends. Two storeys and attic. Internal brick chimney stack at each end and one off centre. Projecting on northwest, later plastered timber frame wing with gable-ended tile roof.

The Manor House has many detailed similarities to the neighbouring Dower House (NHER 19350). An oriel window with original sliding shutters survives.
