Summary

In 1977 a selection of Neolithic flint pieces were found in spoil produced by digging of the Broad. Flint types identified included cores, flakes and scrapers. The following year a medieval/post-medieval pottery sherd was found in the same area.

1 medieval/post-medieval pottery sherd (Salt-glazed stoneware, possible ?Langerwehe, 15th or 16th century). See drawing (S1) and notes in file [1].
