North African Islamic water jar, 19th century.
Identified by British Museum Oriental Antiquities Department.
At another date found by same informant in the same place fallen from the cliff in soil, a bellarmine, Graeco-Roman amphora sherd, Greek clay lamp modern plaster cast of trilobite, suggesting modern collector's dump.
