Summary

This house was built around 1710 to 1720 and the shop front was added in the 19th century. The brick building has six bays and three storeys with an original door. The original ground floor windows were removed by the shop front. There is the base of a large chimney at the rear.

House around 1710 to 1720. Six bays, three storeys (one above cornice), giant angle pilasters. One original door but four ground floor windows removed by projecting 19th century shop front. Base of large chimney at rear. South extension probably contemporary. Red brick.

Listing Description excerpt:
"18th century. Red brick, pantile roof, parapetted on elevation to Market Place. Three storeys...Rubbed brick arches with painted keystones over window openings. Corner pilasters with moulded brick caps. Moulded and dentilled brick string course at second floor level (original eaves level). Good projecting shop front with pilasters...Two-storey wing to south, semi-circular headed window at first floor level...Wings to east largely rebuilt and refaced to Red Lion Street."
