Summary

During 1977-8 a number of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds were recovered from this location. Subsequent metal detecting here in 1983 and 1989 found the bronze rim of a medieval vessel and further sherds of medieval pottery.

A. Rogerson (NAU).

27 September 1983 (reported 1989) and August 1989. Found with metal detector.
Bronze medieval vessel rim.
Found in fieldwalking: medieval sherds including green glazed Grimston and late medieval/transitional wares.
Finds hled by NCM.
