Full Description
Cut by Vermuyden in 1630s.
Runs south from 5860 0150 to the county boundary and beyond. The Wash between this and the New Bedford River was designed as a reservoir. Actually built in 1637, to shorten the length of the Great Ouse. See (S1).

The River Delph, which runs parallel before cutting across to the New Bedford River, is a 19th century addition; information from Environment Agency. Cambridge County Council say of 1825, see NHER 13531.
