Summary

A 17th century two storey, red brick farmhouse with a pantiled roof. The building was altered and extended in the early 20th century but retains two bays of the original lobby entrance house of 1666. The site also retains a post-medieval barn.

Farm house, altered and extended in 19th century. Two bays of original lobby entrance house dated 1666 survives. L-plan, two storeys. Original wing to east; façade not symmetrical with central oval window above former doorway. Moulded brick surrounds to windows each side, now seven bay total. Brick oculus in north gable, blocked attic window, carved monogram 'I I L I I' rest illegible in gable peak. Stepped gable. Date on spandrels of east oval window.
Noted barns of chequered brickwork.

October 1984. Listed. Grade II.
Farm house, altered and extended in early 20th century, but containing two bays of original lobby entrance house dated 1666. Built of red brick and pantiles. L-shaped plan of two storeys. Original wing to east. Façade now symmetrical, with central oval window at first floor level with square modelled brick surround. 20th century window below in blocked lobby entrance. Flanking window openings on both floors have brick architraves and aprons with flat arches and brick hood moulds. Inserted windows in north gable. Brick oculus between first floor windows. Blocked attic window, with carved brick monogram in gable peak. Stepped gable with moulded brick kneelers and tie irons. Spandrels to east oval window contain the date. Gable monogram with inscription below is lost.
