Summary

This early 17th century house is now two cottages. The house has two triple chimneys and the south facade has some chequered brickwork but this has been heavily altered. The west gable is decorated with the Mott coat of arms dating to 1846.

11 May 1978. Visited house east of Church, set back from road.
The house is early 17th century with stepped gables. The west gable has two blocked windows with circle decoration and two below hoodmoulds. The house has two triple chimneys and the south facade has some chequered brickwork but very much altered.

1986.
Listed Grade II, see (S1). Notes brickwork of English bond, upper parts in Flemish bond. Stacks are internal at gables. Flint plinth to two left hand bays. The circular decoration is the Mott arms of 1864.

At the rear the walling is of flint on a brick plinth, heightened in brick. Two ground floor windows of rendered brick including two mullions.
