Summary

Fragments of medieval and post medieval pottery collected from an arable field. The Ordnance Survey have noted earthworks on this site and the pottery was found close to a hollow way associated with a medieval moated site, see NHER 8918.

2 unglazed, medieval? sherds (Thetford-type ware?), 4 unglazed medieval, 2 glazed medieval, 1 glazed post medieval sherds collected by [1] and identified by A. Rogerson (NAU).
Arable field; earthworks also noted and surveyed by Ordnance Survey here, supposed to be part of Kimberley Hall but a long way from scheduled moat. In fact [1] states that the sherds were found just beyond the end of the hollow way running northeast from NHER 8918.
