Summary

An ornate house of around 1700, containing unusual features such as ornamental grilles above the cupboards and a stud and 'fired clay' wall dividing off the kitchen which was still one of the main integral rooms. The west wall dates from an earlier building and there are reused timbers in the house. An outshut was added on the west in the 19th century. The building was subdivided in the 20th century, but was under restoration as one house in 1996.
