Full Description
1950. Found in garden.
Post medieval sword with pommel hilt. Blade 43.8cm (17 1/4 inches) long, total length 57.8cm (22 3/4 inches).
Originally called 14th century by [1], then 17th century German hunting knife by [2]; finally 1790 to 1820 English infantry officer's sword by Tower Armouries, which R.R. Clarke (NCM) thought most probable.
