Summary

This L-shaped building was probably originally timber framed. It dates to the late 16th century and has one wing as a separate kitchen. The walls replaced with brick in the 17th century. In the late 18th century it underwent grand refurbishment as a gentry residence, and a large ornate brick barn was built. Further alterations were made in the 19th century.

During 1995 restoration medieval ashlar columns and ?Coade stone fireplace found.
