Summary

A 17th century barn, later converted into a cartlodge, and an 18th century barn. Two wooden carvings were found in the wall of one of the barns, depicting a man in early 18th century dress and a pelican.

Barn, said to be partly Tudor.
In the wall used as lintels over slits were found a carved bench end depicting a pelican (102cm) and a carved building timber showing man in dress of about 1700 (90cm).
Photographed when brought to KLM 5 May 1978.
(S1) mentions two barns, a small one they believe to be 17th century and a larger one probably 18th century, later altered.
