Summary

Several sherds of Late Saxon Thetford ware pottery and medieval pottery were recovered from this area in 1978 and 1980. It has also been reported that a large quantity of Roman pottery was found in this area in the 1960's, but this has not been confirmed. It is possible that these sherds were also Thetford ware.
