Summary

Various worked flints including a Mesolithic microlith, a Neolithic flint axe, a leaf arrowhead and three barbed and tanged flint arrowheads were found here before 1974. The exact nature of their discovery is unclear. Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered prehistoric, Neolithic and Beaker period worked flints, prehistoric burnt flints and fragments of medieval pottery.

Pre 1972. Stray Find.
Various objects found by F. Curtis.
From Curtis field 81 (TL 692 907 approximately; Context 2):.
1 Neolithic flint axe
From Curtis Field 82 (TL 693 909 approximately; Context 3; previously recorded as NHER 14642):
1 Neolithic leaf arrowhead
3 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age barbed and tanged arrowheads.

1 Mesolithic 'microlith'.
