Summary

Various worked flints including a Mesolithic microlith, a Neolithic flint axe, a leaf arrowhead and three barbed and tanged flint arrowheads were found here before 1974. The exact nature of their discovery is unclear. Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered prehistoric, Neolithic and Beaker period worked flints, prehistoric burnt flints and fragments of medieval pottery.
